A long lazy Saturday started with some bread making in our Somerset hilltop this weekend. We love getting Ovs busy in the kitchen and making fresh bread rolls for lunch is a win win situation (especially for Mummy who gets a lie in whilst the process gets underway downstairs!)
We use the Jamie Oliver recipe for a simple loaf but we halve the ingredients and always prefer rolls to a loaf; they're more fun for Ovs to help make as there's a bit more rolling and shaping involved and you can pop some in the freezer for easy lunches later in the week.
Don't forget to kit your little bakers out in a gorgeous Mini Pinny and then get stuck in to some lovely kneading, bashing, stirring and whirring in the kitchen this weekend...and you get to eat the results!
